MAKE ROOM FOR ADVENTURE

Rock pool slides
& jump rocks.

Make summer a little more memorable with a waterslide integrated into sculpted rock. Every layout starts with your pool and the people who will use it.

Curved pool waterslide integrated into sculpted rock beside a waterfall

A slide that belongs in the landscape

A rock slide feature brings the slide path and surrounding rockwork into one design. Instead of treating the slide as an isolated object, we consider how the approach, planting, waterfall and pool edge fit together. The result can be playful while still complementing a refined outdoor space.

The rockwork is sculpted by hand to create its own texture and character. A waterfall may be incorporated alongside the slide, with lighting considered as part of the overall feature.

The right layout starts with the water

Slide height and curve cannot be selected from appearance alone. Pool depth, the clear water-entry area, distance from walls and other features, and the applicable slide requirements determine what may be suitable. We also consider the intended users and water supply.

A feature must have a practical approach and appropriate access details. Steps, handholds or barriers, where required, belong in the initial planning rather than being added after the shape is decided.

Jump rocks need their own assessment

A rock ledge does not automatically make a suitable jumping platform. Any proposed jump rock needs a specific review of pool depth, clearances, entry area and relevant requirements. We do not assume that an existing deep end is sufficient.

If the pool cannot accommodate a jumping feature, we can explore a sculpted rock accent or waterfall instead. Photos are useful for the first conversation, but dimensions and site assessment are needed to establish suitability.

New pools, retrofits and project cost

For a new pool, involving us early allows the feature to be coordinated with the pool builder’s design. For an existing pool, construction access, equipment, deck alterations and the surrounding space can limit the available options.

The price depends on slide configuration, sculpted rock volume, supporting construction, access, plumbing and additional features. Send pool plans if available, photos from several angles, your budget and the ages or needs of the intended users so we can begin a practical discussion.

PLAN WITH CONFIDENCE

Rock slides & jump rocks: your questions

Can adults use the slide too?

That depends on the selected slide design, its user limits and the installed pool conditions. Tell us who will use it so the proposal can account for them. We do not promise that every slide configuration is suitable for every user.

How deep does the pool need to be?

There is no single depth that makes every slide or jump rock suitable. Required water depth and clearances depend on the specific design, entry conditions and applicable standards. We assess those requirements before recommending a feature.

Can you combine a slide with a waterfall or grotto?

Yes, where the site and pool layout support the combined design. Planning them together helps coordinate the footprint, access and water systems. Explore our waterfalls and grottos for the other parts of the feature.

What needs maintenance?

Keep the slide surface and access route clean, check the water supply and inspect the feature for wear or damage. Follow the installed slide’s use and care instructions, and winterize water systems appropriately.
